Hello explorers! We've got a number of visual improvements in this build, plus some quality of life, bug fixes, and a new monster ability. Let's dive in...
BUG FIXES
- Various fixes to tree prefabs (including fade collision boxes, or just generally being in the wrong place)
- Various fixes to retrying or failing a ruins map
- Tile "payloads" can now overwrite each other, such as a monster's armor tile overwriting a player's link crystal (this was causing issues with the Guard Beetle boss)
- Power selector no longer appears in the battle UI if you have no powers
- 2x2 solid blocks like those Hagan throws now match the visual appearance of the elements they contain
GAMEPLAY
- Monsters now act more aggressively when near the hero
- New "Vertical Slash" ability, assigned to Beewi for now
IMPROVEMENTS
- More prefabs for wandering monsters
- Diagonal movement is slightly slower
- Transitions to battle look better
- Loading bar should no longer flash on the screen for a split second
- There is now a grace period after you lose a battle before you can enter another one (so you don't get in a battle loop)
- Removed the extra popup text when you clear a Red Orb; added a new animation for this
